Please help your colleagues to enjoy their visit by ensuring that everybody in your party is aware of these guidelines.

 Hotel Check In and Check Out Times:

On arrival please report to reception which is located in the lounge bar.

You should be able to check into your rooms from 2.30pm on the day of your arrival.  Our changing rooms are available if you require facilities prior to this.

On check in, please ensure that your party has filled out registration forms for hotel rooms, and your evening menu.

Rooms must be vacated, bills settled and room keys must be returned to reception by 10am on the day of your departure.

Hotel Deposits:

Golf break deposits are £ 35.00 per person they are non-returnable..

These  must be paid within 14 days of making a provisional booking. Bookings may be removed from our system if deposits are not received in time. 

Please note that when if no show occurs, although a deposit is lost, if there is one remaining guest in a room you will still be required to pay a single supplement of £15.00 per night.

Hotel Golf Break Single Occupancy Supplement:

A single occupancy supplement of £ 15.00 must be paid for each night a room is occupied by only one guest.

Methods of Payment:

We accept the following credit/debit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Switch, Delta and Connect. All payments made by credit card carry a 1.5% handling charge, however there is no handling charge for payments paid by debit card. Cheques are also accepted made payable to "Farthingstone Golf Course". Please clearly write the organisers name and the booking date on the back of the cheque.

Hotel Beer Vouchers: 

Our beer vouchers are valid between 18:00 and 23:00 on the date stated at the top of the voucher. They are not transferable to another day or another customer, and are valid for four pints of draught beer or draught soft drink only.

Always remember that you are not the only people using the facilities, language and noise should be kept to acceptable levels at all times.

Dress Code Golf Course:

Please ensure all players wear suitable golf clothing, no jeans, trainers, vests or inappropriate shorts. Golf shoes must be worn on the golf course.

Please be advised that players may be stopped from playing if they are not appropriately dressed, without refund.

Handicap Certificates:

Whilst a certificate of playing ability is not required at Farthingstone the appropriate golfing etiquette and knowledge of golfing rules is expected, and we reserve the right to refuse access if it is judged that individuals do not display the required etiquette and/or knowledge.

 Dress Code Clubhouse:

The general dress code in the club house is smart casual.  Shorts and hats should not be worn in the dining room.  Caps and vests (males) may not be worn in the clubhouse.

Golf shoes of any description are only permitted in the Pro Shop and Changing room areas. Please DO NOT wear golf shoes (including soft spikes) in the bar, restaurant or hotel.

Mobile Phones Policy:

Mobile phones should not be used on the golf course or in the club house.

Golf Cars:

The use of golf buggies is weather dependant.

Visitors own golf buggies are strictly prohibited.

Golf buggies must be driven with due care and attention. Only two occupants and two golf bags are allowed to travel on a golf car at any time. No one under the age of 18 may drive a golf car.

Food and Drink:

It is strictly prohibited for visitors to consume their own alcohol and food on the premises or golf course.

Playing Conditions:

Hollow tining is an essential part of course maintenance and as the timing depends on weather, we are not always aware of when this will occur.
